10 March 2014- NEW Golden Eagle and Release of Rehab bird
Little update on our birds.

Jericho - our bird from Skyline WMA that we caught on 5 Feb 2014 was successfully rehabilitated for lead poisoning and released where we caught her on 5 Mar 2014. She didn't go far for a couple days, but has siunce initiated migration north and in 2 days made it into southern WV!

We caught a NEW Golden Eagle on 5 March 2014 at Bear Hollow Mtn WMA in Franklin Co. This bird, named Sand Rock, stayed in the area for a few days, but headed north, following almost the EXACT same route as Jericho. Sunday, Mar 9, he was on Frozen Head SP.

Our other birds are still in the same areas from the last update.

Hatfield Knob is still near Lake Cumberland SP in KY
Monroe is still in the vicinity of Roan Mountain
Hytop is still in Indiana, but looks to be moving north away from where he spent about 10 days.
Letson is still on and around Bear Hollow Mtn WMA
