Cowan Marsh

Site Directions: From Hwy 64 in Winchester, TN, travel east on 41A/15 to the town of Cowan. In Cowan, turn left (north) on Stewart Rd. In one block you will see a gravel boat ramp and parking lot.

Site Description: The marsh has some open water ringed with aquatic vegetation and thickets of small trees.

Wildlife to Watch: The marsh attracts ducks and waterbirds throughout the winter. Woodland birds may be found throughout the year. This location is worth stopping in if in the area.
