Horns Bluff Refuge
Site Directions: From Hwy 412 in Crockett County, go east on Hwy 152 for 5.2 miles to sign for Horns Bluff Refuge. Turn left after sign on Raleigh Road and turn left in 150 yards onto Horns Bluff Road. Follow into Observation Area where you find a parking lot and gravel roads.

Hours: daylight hours, however the refuge is closed to all forms of trespass from 15 November through the last day of February.
Seasonality: All year for designated observation areas; however part of refuge is closed 15 Nov through last day of February.
Fees: none
Site Description: The 1,790 acres of the refuge are comprised of primarily early successional forest, agricultural land, and bottomland forests. An observation tower provides a high level view of fields and forests.

Wildlife to Watch: Wild Turkey and deer are common. Waterfowl can be numerous from the observation deck in winter. Northern Harriers patrol the open areas all winter.
